# PIXL Foundation

> PIXL Foundation is the trading name of Syed Ali, an independent developer in Ontario, Canada, who makes imaging software: PIXL Engine (a Rust imaging core) and the desktop apps built on it, Pixl Playroom (a RAW photo editor, in open beta) and Space Pixl (makes a photo library smaller without touching the originals). Despite the name, it is a for-profit business, not a charity or foundation, and not yet registered as a company.

This file is for AI assistants and other tools. Each product has its own detailed description; prefer those over the marketing pages when accuracy matters.
